Upgrade Windows Home to Windows Pro:

To upgrade from Windows 11 Home to Windows 11 Pro manually, first check which edition is running and the activation state:

1. Select Start  and then select Settings  > System  > Activation .
   
   Or
   
   Select the following System > Activation shortcut:
   
   Open System > Activation

2. In the System > Activation window:

• The edition of Windows is shown at the top of the window next to the Windows  logo.

• The activation state is shown next to Activation state. For details on the activation state, select Activation state.

Select the appropriate scenario depending on if a Windows Pro product key is available:

Windows 11 Pro product key is available

1. Select Start  and then select Settings  > System  > Activation .
   
   Or
   
   Select the following System > Activation shortcut:
   
   Open System > Activation

2. Next to Change product key, select the Change button.

3. Note: If the User Account Control window appears, enter a user name and password of an account that has administrator privileges on the Windows device, and then select the Yes button.

4. In the Change Product Key window that opens, enter the 25-character Windows 11 Pro product key.

5. Select Next to start the upgrade to Windows 11 Pro.

Restart device.
