Usually if you remove what’s already installed, ensure all the latest win7 updates are also installed and then download / install from the direct link below:

Use the small simple free app below to extract Office 2016:
https://www.7-zip.org/a/7z1900.exe
Once installed find the iso / img file and right click > extract to your desired location.
After the successful extraction run the required 32 or 64 setup.exe.
I have just purchased office 2021, downloaded but cannot see mount when I click on the file.

Trying to install office 2016 pro plus from the microsoftt website and i keep getting install errors. Windows 7 with sp1. Any advise please?
Office 2016 pro plus install issue.
1. Make sure windows hasnt got any updates waiting, if so install them.
2. run the Microsoft uninstall tool and remove everything office: https://aka.ms/diag_officeuninstall
3. Then use the direct links below to install:
