Love it! Hate it! Forget it….
Whatever your feelings, sharing is caring so please share your thoughts with the tech community and maybe the right person from Microsoft might just listen.
Please keep views professional and truthful with as much detail as possible which hopefully others will find invaluable, particularly if they are less techie than yourselves.
Also use the post title to be specific, such as office 2021, 2019, install issues or something like “ why does office 2019 require so much space”.
Remember caring is sharing and sharing could lead to better future products and support from Microsoft, which would benefit us all.
I am trustee of a charity wanting to order Office 2019 Pro Plus for a new worker. This will be installed on a laptop held by someone else. Can I order under my name then pass on the installation email and details to the person who will install it?
Thank you for your advice.
Gill
Yes you can send the link and key onto another person, I did with my sister. :)
One Drive; my screen is telling me that it is full yet I do not know and cannot see how to be selective about what is on the One Drive and and what is not and so everything is being transferred/copied to the One Drive.
All I can see is a folder list comprising 4 folders under "One Drive - personal." These folders comprise Attachments/Desktop/Documents/Pictures. The Documents folder mirrors my documents folder on the hard drive.
So, I guess I'm asking which is the master; is it One Drive or my Laptop?
What I don't want to happen is to delete a file from One Drive and find the file is then also deleted from the hard drive.
Hi John,
See if the below sorts the issue:
Open windows explorer
2. If you're using OneDrive you should see something like "OneDrive - Personal" within the left-hand pane. If so, Right-Click to access the context-menu.
3. You should see the menu-item: "Always keep on this device", select this.
4. Recheck your desktop; no more brown boxes

Hello, Just purchased office 2016 for your works system running Win7.
It says “Microsoft Office has stopped working”
A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
